Space is limited in Flanders, and interest in entrepreneurship is increasing. How to reconcile the two? Hexagon has the perfect answer. This project developer from West Flanders is growing at record speed, from start-up to household name when it comes to conversion projects. The existing logo no longer fitted with the stated values of the company, so it was time for a rebranding!
The brand story is clear: Hexagon never uses green, open spaces to develop its projects. Behind every Hexagon new build or renovation project, there is a history of trade or commerce. The entrepreneurs of tomorrow will write their stories in the architectural multi-tenant buildings built or renovated by Hexagon, with the necessary focus on efficient implementation and cross-pollination.
The team at Hexagon are committed and have a clear objective: so it was down to MOQO to create a visual representation of their story.
For the logo we took inspiration from the four pillars above. The result? A logo reminiscent of wood grain, with the H for Hexagon forming the centre of the stamp of approval the company applies to safeguarding of nature on the one hand and the business world on the other. Next to the logo, Hexagon is printed in a sleek font, for a clear, balanced whole. A serif font for titles and quotes completes the house style. This is the finishing touch to Hexagon’s professional and reliable image.
We developed a range of house-style carriers. From the classic business card and letter paper to a brochure with a cut-out logo on the cover and subtle lettering on vehicles: from now on Hexagon’s unique story will be reinforced with a full range of communication tools.
We also tackled Hexagon’s website. The website is targeted primarily at potential investors and other stakeholders, such as city councils and intermunicipal authorities, so it needs to be appropriately serious and to exude credibility, through both the graphics and copy. The attention-grabbing mood film on the homepage tells Hexagon’s complete story through a few images.
In order to support Hexagon's sales department, we built a link between the projects on the website and the client’s underlying CRM system, which improves efficiency.
